Do you ever think about what kind of technologies we may have in the future?
I remember growing up watching the movie "Back to the Future", and seeing all kinds of things thinking that I would grow up and see flying cars and hoverboards in the future. Although that did not come true, many of those predictions did, such as video phones (facetime calls), wearable technology, such as apple watches, mobile payments, and more.
I'm sure technology is a fun thing to think about and predict as there is a wide variety of things that can be done with technology, and is still being discovered today. There are many things that have already been done with technology that we have seen happen before our eyes as well!
Education and Technology
I think that the biggest thing for me is how technology has played a big role in education, especially today, we see a lot of laptops and iPads at school. I still remember the time when we were not allowed to have phones in class, but now things have changed completely as technology has become the main source for many students (and teachers) nowadays. Things that we can see now such as Google Classroom, Zoom, online textbooks, and more are being utilized to improve education and ways that we go about teaching and learning.
There are also many other far more advanced tech that is being talked about today, here is a great video that showcases some of these tech :
What are some predictions we can make now?
Personally I feel like there are going to be a lot more things that are targeted towards convenience, as we can see that a lot nowadays with things such as apple pay, online textbooks (not needing to go out and buy a book), iPhones that allow us to do many personal things such as instant messaging, etc. I think that there are also a lot of advancements focused towards medicine, where people look to cure certain diseases and more.
Here is another resource that shows what some more (specific) predictions for the future may look like,
